Calendar

See reminders, birthdays, and bill due dates all on one calendar. Navigate month by month.

Most households are already using two or three different apps to track different kinds of upcoming events — a calendar for appointments, a reminder app for tasks, a spreadsheet for bills. The problem is that those apps don't talk to each other. You have to check multiple places to know what's actually coming up this week. Tandem's calendar solves that by pulling all of it together.

Reminders, bill due dates, and birthdays all appear on a single month-by-month calendar, shared across the whole household. At a glance, you can see that rent is due on the 1st, your partner has a dentist reminder on the 8th, and your mom's birthday is on the 14th. That unified view is genuinely hard to replicate with separate apps.

Because the calendar is shared, there's no coordination overhead. Both of you see the same dates. Upcoming events are surfaced before they arrive, so you can plan the week ahead rather than reacting when something is suddenly due today.

How it works

  1. 1

    Everything appears automatically

Reminders, bills, and birthdays you've added in Tandem automatically populate the calendar. There's no separate calendar data entry.

  2. 2

    Navigate by month

Tap forward or back to browse month by month. Dots on each date show what's happening that day.

  3. 3

    Tap a date for details

Tap any date to see a list of everything scheduled that day — which bills are due, which reminders are assigned, whose birthday it is.

  4. 4

    Act from the calendar

Tap any event to open it directly. Mark a bill paid, complete a reminder, or note a birthday — without leaving the calendar view.

Frequently asked questions

What types of events appear on the Tandem calendar?
Reminders (and their due dates), bill payment due dates, and household birthdays all appear automatically on the shared calendar.
Can I add calendar events that aren't bills or reminders?
Today the calendar aggregates from Tandem's other features. Freestanding calendar events are something we're looking at adding.
Is the calendar shared with the whole household?
Yes. All household members see the same calendar. There's no private calendar mode — Tandem is designed around household-level visibility.
Can I see events more than a month ahead?
Yes. Navigate forward as many months as you like to see what's coming up further out.
Does the calendar sync with my phone's native calendar?
Not currently, but native calendar sync (iCal export / Google Calendar) is on our feature roadmap.
